Conveniently located at 55 Buford Highway, George Pierce Park is open daily from sunrise until 11:00 PM (unless posted otherwise).   • Community Recreation Center with a double gymnasium and indoor walking track

  • Prime Timers Pointe, a dedicated space for senior recreation
  • Outdoor basketball courts and shuffleboard courts
  • A large variety of athletic fields, including:
    • Five youth soccer fields
    • Seven youth baseball/softball fields
    • Two adult softball fields
    • Football/multi-purpose field (available for public use when not reserved)

Nature lovers will enjoy George Pierce Park’s 2.6-mile paved trail, 1.2-mile unpaved trail, and a 1.25-mile stretch of the Ivy Creek Greenway—perfect for walking, jogging, or cycling. An accessible nature loop trail also winds through the forest area next to the playground, offering a peaceful, shaded path for all to enjoy.

The playground at George Pierce Park was specially designed to be accessible for everyone. It features ramps, wide pathways, and inclusive play equipment so kids of all abilities can join in the fun.
