“Ripple Effect” by Amanda Henke is more than just a mural—it’s a vibrant public art piece with a purpose. Created in partnership with the City of Duluth’s Planning and Development Department, this project was designed to spark community awareness around crucial environmental issues, including illicit discharge, stormwater management, and the protection of local streams. Through its thoughtful design and strategic placement near a storm drain, the mural visually illustrates how our everyday actions impact the health of local waterways, inspiring residents to take small steps that collectively make a big difference.
