Overview
Arachnid is a large metal spider sculpture by artist Damon Lusky, located in Sims Lake Park. Created for Suwanee’s inaugural SculpTour in 2011, the piece was later chosen by the community for permanent display. Made from welded steel, the sculpture measures about 10 feet wide, weighs 200 pounds, and is designed to evoke strong emotional reactions ranging from fascination to fear.
