Overview

A down-to-earth place with grocery items & a kitchen doling out sandwiches, salads & Southern meals. Always Fresh started as a Fruit Stand at the corner of Five Forks Trickum and Rockbridge Road and was moved indoors with the vision of being a Neighborhood Market where you could get fresh produce and locally made breads, desserts and canned jams and jellies. The owner, Joel Guldenschuh, had to quickly rethink his business model if he didn't want to go under which is why he started taking the produce that wasn't selling and making vegetable soup and giving it away to customers. Thankfully, the community loved what he cooked and slowly the business grew, changing gradually over time from a Market to a Restaurant.
