Norcross Cultural Arts & Community Center
Overview
Located in Downtown Norcross, the Cultural Arts & Community Center is a community gathering and event space offering year-round arts, cultural, and educational programming. Programs and events include theatrical performances, author events, classes, Movie Mondays, First Friday Concerts, and other community activities.
The center is also available for private rentals, making it a versatile venue for family reunions, meetings, youth groups, weddings, receptions, corporate events, and other special occasions. The Ballroom/Banquet Room is the center’s largest event space and can accommodate up to 120 guests for a seated dinner with round tables or 165 guests with theater-style seating. Tables and chairs are included with the rental, and the space also features access to a caterer’s kitchen. Additional rental spaces include three classrooms accommodating up to 25 guests each and the Summerour Conference Room, which seats up to 15 guests.

Celebrate 25 years of global storytelling, culture, and creative excellence at the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival (UMFF 2026) — a dynamic, two-week hybrid experience bringing together filmmakers, content creators, and audiences from around the world.
Taking place October 12–25, 2026, UMFF kicks off on Anti-Columbus Day with bold, thought-provoking programming and continues with virtual and in-person events designed to inform, inspire, and connect.
GLOBAL IMPACT
This year’s festival features 170+ projects in competition from creators representing 16 countries across 6 continents, making UMFF a truly international platform for independent voices and diverse storytelling.
Come out and join the events of the 24th Urban Mediamakers Film Festival showcasing the creativity of international content creators, October 13-19, 2025 throughout Gwinnett County, Georgia and Atlanta, Georgia.
We have 171 projects in competition from content creators from around the world including: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Guadeloupe, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Japan, Malaysia, Martinique, Mexico, Netherlands, Philippines, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and the United States.
