Overview
Fresh Films Gwinnett is one of the Gwinnett Film Commission’s workforce development partners. Their 2025-2026 programs include:
Fresh Films Accelerated Training – Kick start your career in film with advanced training for young adults 18-24. The program uses hands-on production training, guest speakers and workforce skills sessions to get your job ready.
As part of the Accelerated Program, students will:
· Produce multiple projects to add to your portfolio while gaining experience alongside professionals from the ROKU Channel, Fremantle and other prestigious studios.
· Access intensive training from IATSE Film pros
· Have an opportunity to work on-set, either in a TV series or film production to gain your IMDb credit
· Make invaluable industry connections via studios tours and speakers sessions
· Participate in mandatory sessions to learn film set etiquette, essential technical competencies, plus sharpen your resume and interview skills
The Accelerated Training is held at Georgia Gwinnett College and is and open to young adults ages 18-24 (no requirement to be a GGC student). 2026 programs are not open yet, but pre-register here to receive info as soon as it is available! No previous filmmaking experience required and while program is competitive and application-based, there is no fee, as program is supported by the Gwinnett Film Commission and Fresh Films.
