Where to Shop for Stocking Stuffers

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

Gifts are great, but opening my stocking on Christmas morning has always been one of my favorite things. *Santa* has always left the cutest trinkets and candies, like chocolate oranges, handmade soaps and treats for my pup.

If you're still looking for stocking stuffers, you've come to the right place. Here are seven stores you can get great, small gifts for all your favorite folks.

For the Trendsetter
Personify Shop in downtown Duluth has glamorous gifts for the fashion-forward friends in your life. In this store, you can grab the latest Swell bottle or Rifle Paper Co. planner.

For the Sugar Fiend
Rocket Fizz recently opened in Suwanee Town Center, and I've never seen so much candy. They have more flavors of taffy than I was willing to count. They've also got giant lollipops and specialty candies—fried egg gummies, anyone? Be sure to check out the Rocket Fizz brand soda flavors, like bacon with maple syrup and lemon meringue pie.

For the Nerd
That's a term of endearment. If you're trying to appease someone who loves comics and video games, stop into Galactic Quest for unique comic books and other novelty items.

For the World Traveler
Mix things up, and toss in some international fare from Taste of Britain. The store offers traditional English china, as well as snacks and other items from the U.K.

For the Pet Lover
Or for your pet. Pooch N' Paws, which has locations in Peachtree Corners and Suwanee, offers treats, toys, specialty dog cookies and grooming.

For the Artist
At Tannery Row Artist Colony, you'll find a lot of art and hand-made pieces for sale. Not only will you be making a loved one happy, but you'll support local artisans.

For the Wine/Beer Lover
If you're looking for unique craft beer and wine, Three Blind Mice in Lilburn has a great selection. Their market, which is located just inside the restaurant, has been known to carry uncommon items, like a Game of Thrones Chardonnay.

This list could go on and on, but hopefully this is enough to get you started. Comment below with your ideas for places to get small gifts. Happy shopping, everyone.
