From peppermint flavorings to all things red and green, there's just something a little more special about a dessert with a Christmas twist.

If you're heading to a holiday party, want to grab a gift for someone special or just have a sweet tooth yourself, we've got six places you can enjoy an assortment of treats.

Cupcake People. Located in Lawrenceville, Cupcake People has precious holiday cupcakes—think cute reindeer, tiny trees and mini gingerbread men. They'll also make you a holiday cake if you've got a crowd to feed.

Blue Rooster Bake Shop & Eatery. Blue Rooster is chock-full of Christmas goodies. Not only can you find cupcakes and full cakes, but they've got giant marshmallows covered in peppermint pieces, holiday cookies filled with cream and so much more.

The Chocolaterie. If you haven't had a truffle from The Chocolaterie, we suggest you head there... now. Their holiday collection includes snowmen and Christmas trees. And, the flavors are really unique—eggnog, spiced pear and cranberry orange.
