What's Going Down Around Town

What's Going Down Around Town?

We can't wait for the weekend! Thankfully, we don't have to much longer.

One of the greatest things about Gwinnett is that it's home to such a variety of events. We've got great music, interesting expos and holiday celebrations to boot. This weekend is no different.

We've already told you about some of the great holiday celebrations taking place all over the county. There's so many other ways to celebrate the season! Check out the Home for the Holiday Expo at Infinite Energy Center. Grab a holiday carriage ride in Norcross. Take the little ones to Aurora Children's Playhouse for Santa's Missing Mail. Watch The Polar Express—in a real train car—at Southeastern Railway Museum.

If you've got a furry family member, you can get pictures with Santa himself this weekend at the Gwinnett Humane Society and Lucky Shoals Park.

There are plenty of non-holiday events happening, too. See Amber's Drive at Eddie Owen Presents @ The Red Clay Music Foundry. Attend the grand opening of Fire Station No. 1 Museum. Head over to the Gwinnett County Fair Grounds for the Southeast Exotic Bird Show.

See? We told you there was all kinds of stuff to do.

So, whether you partake in something holiday related or meet a macaw this weekend, we hope you have a great time. Be sure to tag #exploregwinnett in all your posts on social!
