Guide to Gwinnett

Spend a Day in Snellville

Spend a lovely day in one of Gwinnett's fastest growing cities, Snellville. Snellville offers everything from unique food experiences to great opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

Morning

Wake up bright and early and head to Donut King, one of Gwinnett's best donut shops that has been serving up sweetness since 1992! Whether you have a taste for apple fritters (get there early for these because they always sell out!), custard filled donuts or cinnamon twists you can't go wrong at this donut institution. Also, if you get there a little later in the morning we've heard rave reviews about their pigs in a blanket. If a sweet breakfast treat is not your thing visit First Watch for more traditional (and equally delicious) breakfast fare.

Now that your belly is full, time for some shopping! Head over to Artzy Beads, a jewelry makers paradise. Peruse rows and rows of unique beads or attend one of their group painting classes. If the painting classes pique your interest be sure to check out the schedule of painting/drawing classes offered at Cobblestone Creek Studios

Mid-Day

By this time, you've likely worked up an appetite. Head over to Sri Thai Kitchen and Sushi Bar for pad thai and sushi. Choose from over 10 sushi options. After sushi, visit Serenity Salt Cave for a stunning therapeutic salt cave experience. Serenity offers a 350 square-foot cave constructed of natural pink Himalayan salt. It features meticulously stacked boulders and bricks, all hand-placed to form the walls. There's even a fibre-optic lighting design that showcases stalactites and illuminated bricks. Serenity Salt Cave is the ultimate destination for relaxation and detoxification. This location also offers massage, reflexology, infrared sauna, t'ai chi, yoga and healing touch.

Now, that you are completely relaxed it's time to head to Lincoln Fill Station for a craft beer flight. Lincoln Fill Station boasts some of the best craft beer selection in Gwinnett. Enjoy your flight on their expansive patio.

Evening

The dinner bell is ringing, so time to head to one of Gwinnett's most popular independent Italian restaurants, Provino's Italian Restaurant. Provino's offers upscale traditional family-style Italian food. Have your pick of pastas, appetizers and wine. (TIP: You can eat free on your birthday!) After dinner take a short drive over to Nothing Bundt Cakes or Bill Rhodes Bakery for a delicious cake dessert. If you're still hankering for some fun in Snellville grab your beret and head over to Masterpiece Mixers next for a fun painting party. No art skills required! Sit back and enjoy the experience as an energetic painting instructor leads you step-by-step to creating your masterpiece.
