6 Ways to Enjoy National Peach Month
We're feeling peachy keen, because it's National Peach Month.
There's nothing better during a Georgia summer than a delicious peach. After all, we are the peach state! So, it's fitting that August is National Peach Month. There are so many ways to enjoy peaches—whether you just bite right in or bake them into a pie, you really can't go wrong.
If you're not a chef yourself, there are a lot of places in Gwinnett where you can find peach-inspired cuisine to celebrate National Peach Month, and we share six of them here:
Dreamland Bar-B-Que (Duluth)
Recently opened in downtown Duluth, Dreamland Bar-B-Que is serving up peach cobbler a la mode.
Crave Pie (Duluth)
Crave Pie Studio offers a seasonal peach pie, and right now, they're baking with fresh peaches.
The Crossing Steakhouse (Norcross)
Try something a little different at The Crossing Steakhouse where they offer a ginger peach cheesecake for dessert.
Blue Rooster Bake Shop & Eatery (Lawrenceville)
Another place to get a great slice of peach pie, Blue Rooster is located in downtown Lawrenceville.
Flying Biscuit Cafe (Peachtree Corners)
The Flying Biscuit Cafe has two peach offerings on their menu. First up is their famous organic oatmeal pancakes with peaches. For dessert, check out their Georgia peaches-n-cream.
Aqua Terra Bistro (Buford)
On a liquid diet? Try Aqua Terra's signature cocktail, the Aqua-Tini. This drink is made with amaretto, peach schnapps, orange juice and pineapple juice, topped with champagne.
