​2018 Mitsubishi Electric Classic

The Mitsubishi Electric Classic, a PGA TOUR Champions event, will return to Gwinnett April 9-15, 2018.

This 54-hole stroke play tournament will feature 78 PGA TOUR Champions professionals competing for a $1.8 million purse at the prestigious TPC Sugarloaf. This event isn't just about golf—there are several exciting events and opportunities taking place at this year’s tournament.

Georgia United Credit Union Executive Women's Day, Monday, April 9
Who wouldn't want to spend a day celebrating strong, powerful women? You'll enjoy a panel discussion with Terri Jondahl, CEO of CAB Inc. and CAB Worldwide Holdings, Carla Carraway, President of Precision Planning, Vonda Bledsoe, VP of Service and Sales at Georgia United Credit Union, and Darrice Griffin, Deputy Director of Administration at University of Georgia. The panel will be followed by a lunch and keynote speaker Carol Burrell, President and CEO of Northeast Georgia Health Systems. Then, Wine Down at TPC Sugarloaf with Guest Speaker Amanda Wilbanks Owner & CEO of Southern Baked Pie.

Matt Ryan Celebrity-AM Classic, Monday, April 9
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta are teaming up for the eighth annual Matt Ryan Celebrity-Am Classic. This exclusive golf event, held the Monday after the Masters Tournament, will raise funds for the Aflac Cancer Center and the Matt Ryan Foundation. Celebrity guests will include a number of well-known Falcons players and retired professional athletes.  Each corporate foursome will be paired with a celebrity for a memorable round of golf.

Maxwell Leadership Pro-Am, April 11 & 12
Whether you're watching or playing the Pro-Am is a fun event. Professional golfers will play with foursomes of amateurs through the day. If you're playing, you can expect fun perks like pre-round food and beverage for participant and guest, post-round awards reception for participant and guest a premium amateur gift package and more.

Kids Day, Saturday, April 14
Golf isn't just for adults. Your little ones are sure to have a good time at Kids Day. Activities will include local mascot visits, face painting, crazy hair station, golf games and more. Children under 16 will receive free grounds admission with a ticketed adult.

The Lounge on 16
If you need a break from walking around the course, head to The Lounge on 16. This special tent will include a bourbon and cigar bar that you won't want to miss. It's open to the public, and there will be shuttles available to get you there.

Volunteer Opportunities
If you really like golf or volunteering, this is the place to be. The tournament employs over 600 volunteers to help out with the event every year, and there are a number of committees and positions that'll fit just about anyone. Volunteers get awesome swag, including a golf shirt, a pull over and a hat or visor, plus breakfast or lunch. You'll also get a chance to play TPC Sugarloaf at a discounted price and 15% off at the TPC Sugarloaf store.
