Local Farmers Market

Who doesn't love fresh produce in the summertime?

There is nothing better than strolling around a local farmers market on a summer Saturday morning. All the produce is fresh from local vendors who work hard every week to sell their product. Farmers markets can be inspiring and prompt you to try new dishes you have been eyeing. Since most farmers markets aren't stationary, we made a list of each one coming to Gwinnett this summer. It works out nicely because July is National Fresh Fruit and Veggies Month! Let's celebrate all our local fresh food vendors.

Suwanee

Lettuce Celebrate! The open air farmers market is every Saturday from 8am to noon at Suwanee Town Center.

Duluth

There will be a farmers' market at the Duluth Town Green on the last Thursday of every month. Besides fresh fruit and vegetables, this market will have a nice selection of homemade items such as jams, salsa, flowers, honey and so much more!

Lilburn

The Lilburn Farmers Market is now open for summer, their hours are every Friday from 4-7pm. Try some of the fresh homemade bread, pasta, cheese and other delicious items.

Norcross

The Norcross Community Market is every Saturday till June 26th at Norcross City Hall. Along with local produce, they will also have prepared meals and bake goods. As of right now, you must place your order online and pick it up in the drive-through line.

Braselton

Stop by Historic Downtown Braselton every Friday afternoon till August to see what all the local farmers, bakers and makers have brought for you to enjoy.

Slow Pour Brewing Co

Slow Pour doesn't only offer beer, they always have vendors and food trucks popping by. Every Sunday till July 25th, Slow Pour will have a local farmers market. Shop around the market then enjoy a nice craft beer.

She loves to get a book from the local library and take it to one of Gwinnett's many coffee spots. Outside of work you can find her fishing with her husband, going for a run, getting smoothies or hanging out with family.
