Gwinnett's Great Eats
“First we eat, then we do everything else.” — M.F.K. Fisher
If you haven't noticed, there are countless restaurants in Gwinnett. From authentic Asian cuisine to farm-to-table food to traditional meat and threes, we've got a little bit of everything.
Over the last couple of years, Gwinnett's food scene has continued to grow. Restaurants that we'd typically see in Atlanta neighborhoods are popping up in our cities. We all know Gwinnett is great, but we always like to know why others think it is too.
A recent article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution sheds some light on how some of our favorite eateries came to Gwinnett.
Jay Swift, chef and owner of newly opened Noble Fin in Peachtree Corners said, "We say we’re trying to bring a little bit of the city to the suburbs, and in one sense we’re doing that, but more than anything we’re bringing the suburbs to our concept. We’re adapting. And, this community has been ridiculously welcoming."
Carla Shannon, co-owner of Three Blind Mice in Lilburn mentioned that, "This is where we live our lives. Our friends and customers, like us, like to go out and have a glass of wine or a cocktail and something to eat, and not feel like they have to jump in the car and drive 20 miles away from home."
Check out the article, and learn why other restaurateurs love Gwinnett as much as we do. When you're done reading, get out there and eat!
