Gwinnett Restaurant Week

Gwinnett Restaurant Week: Returning Champs

Because we all love a classic.

It's back. Like a summertime shark movie, Gwinnett Restaurant Week (GRW) returns again. Taking place July 16-20, GRW gives you the chance to experience Gwinnett's great restaurants. You'll find three course, prix fixe meals for $25 or $35* (+ tax & gratuity) at participating restaurants.

We're here to whet your appetite with a little preview of what restaurants will be serving up this year. I'll start with a handful of our returning champs. These restaurants have been involved in restaurant week since the beginning. They offer great menus and fantastic hospitality.

If you haven't had a chance to try out Luciano's in Duluth, you've got to put it on your list for restaurant week. Here's what your meal could look like: smoked trout dip with grilled pita bread, salmon stuffed with jumbo crab meat, served with smashed potato and green beans, and chocolate cake for dessert. Nom. Check out all their options for GRW.

Sugo is another establishment that's supported GRW for quite a while. The atmosphere in the restaurant is incredibly comfortable and inviting. Their food? Out of this world. Start with bacon wrapped dates or a ceasar salad. For an entree, the classic spaghetti and meatballs is to die for. Dessert is everyone's favorite course, and if there's tiramisu on the menu, I always order it. Sugo's is superb. They've got more choices, too.

I know your mom always told you not to play with your food, but when you're at The Melting Pot, you don't really have a choice. You'll enjoy three courses of different dip-it-yourself treats, including creamy cheese fondue, sirloin, shrimp and chicken, and chocolate fondue. More details here.

Carrabba's in Duluth and Adam's Restaurant & Piano Bar in Buford are also joining us for another great year. Keep an eye out for their menus, and check out some others, here.

We all love a good #foodstagram, so be sure to tag #grw2017 while you're out!

Self-proclaimed foodie and adventurer, Jessica loves to explore Gwinnett and all the great dining, shopping, activities and events the area has to offer. When she's not telling you guys what dishes to try or where to be, she's reading, spending time outdoors or catching up on the latest Netflix original series (who else loved Stranger Things??). She's got an Australian Shepherd that's basically her child and a husband, who always comes second to the dog (sorry, not sorry).
