The Forum on Peachtree Parkway

Morning

Kick off the day with breakfast at The Flying Biscuit where you can have your choice of breakfast tacos, omelets or chicken and waffles! After that, head over to The Forum on Peachtree Parkway for some serious shopping. Pop into Swoozie's at The Forum for super cute stationery and gift items.  Looking for some sweet additions to your wardrobe? Try Lizard Thicket, Dress Up, Ensemble or fab'rik. Visit Pooch N' Paws for unique dog treats and accessories. Just over the new Peachtree Corners pedestrian bridge you can visit Buff City Soap for sensational smelling small batch soaps and body creams.

After you've worked up an appetite shopping, stop into FirebirdsPub Ten or Mojito's for lunch. Indulge at Cinnaholic or Tiff's Treats for a quick dessert.

Afternoon

Grab your four-legged friend and drive over to Jones Bridge Park to enjoy 30 acres of fresh air and scenic views of the Chattahoochee River. Before you go, check the river flow. For Chattahoochee River water release information, call 770.945.1466 or tune in to 1610 AM. Jones Bridge Park allows fishing and there are grills, a playground, pavilions and sand volleyball courts for public use. Other parks include Holcomb Bridge Park and Simpsonwood Park. Once you've gotten your fill of the outdoors head to R. Alexander Fine Art to take in some visual masterpieces.

Evening

The familiar smells of Southern barbecue are calling your name. Head over to 'Cue Barbecue for juicy ribs and delicious mac and cheese. If barbecue is not your thing, try local favorite Ba Bellies for Asian and American fusion. Enjoy some after-dinner local craft beer at Anderby Brewing or Peachtree Growler Company. After that, head to Nitro Zone for a night of bowling and adventure games.

Victoria, a native Gwinnettian, loves discovering new restaurants and things to do locally. Every weekend she re-energizes by spending time with her 2 sons and husband. When she's not enjoying a margarita on someone's patio you can find her at an outdoor festival or shopping locally for vintage items.
