Best Places to Binge Brunch
You CAN brunch with us.
Raise your hand if you agree—brunch is the best. It's really just a socially acceptable excuse to start partying before noon. Gwinnett's got some top-notch brunch spots where you can have a hearty meal and drink your mimosa too.
1. Parkside District
Parkside District is serving up some scrumptious dishes. Try the crab cake benedict or the steak huevos rancheros. The bar serves some pretty stellar cocktails, like the strawberry basil mojito.
Brunch hours: Sunday, 11am - 4pm
2. Maple Street Biscuit Company
You guessed it—Maple Street Biscuit Company excels in the biscuit game. Check out The Squawking Goat, a flaky biscuit, all natural fried chicken breast, fried goat cheese medallion and house made pepper jelly.
3. Black Walnut Cafe
If you like benedicts, Black Walnut Cafe is the place to be. Their bacon cheeseburger benedict is made up of two extra-large poached eggs, two mini burger patties, a toasted English muffin, American cheese, diced bacon, house potatoes and a cayenne citrus hollandaise. They've also got a full bar.
Brunch hours: Monday - Friday until 11am, Saturday and Sunday until 4pm
4. The Brunch Apothecary
It's all in the name. I personally recommend the pork belly benedict at The Brunch Apothecary. It's unique and delicious. The biscuit casserole is filled with the chef's choice of ingredients daily.
5. Graft
If you find yourself in Grayson, stop by Graft for their breakfast burger—a buttermilk biscuit, fried farm egg, caramelized onions and house jam, served with twice cooked fries. The bartenders at Graft know what they're doing, so be sure to order a brunch bevvy.
Brunch hours: Sunday, 10:30am - 3:30pm
6. Three Blind Mice
I'm starting with the drinks here. How about a maple-bacon old fashioned to kick off your Sunday? Three Blind Mice also makes a mean, spicy bloody mary, as well as bottomless mimosas for $12. The food is also fantastic. Try the low-country shrimp and grits or the french toast.
Brunch hours: Sunday, 10am - 3pm
7. 45 South Cafe
Coffee is also an important aspect of brunch. Try 45 South Cafe's house latte with honey, vanilla, cinnamon, espresso and steamed milk. Order the breakfast burrito or bowl.
8. Sugar Hill Bakery & Cafe
The best brunch is served all day, so be sure to check out Sugar Hill Bakery & Cafe. Try something savory and something sweet. The josh is a toasted croissant, sausage, egg, shredded cheddar cheese and french gravy. If you're going for sweet, try the chocolate French toast. Grab a Sugarhillville mimosa for $7.
9. Famous Toastery
The first in Georgia so far, Famous Toastery is serving up pretty any brunch dish you can imagine. From an avocado benny to stuffed French toast, they've got something to satisfy every craving.
10. Local Republic
We all know Local Republic is good for lunch and dinner, but be sure to stop by for brunch. You'll find dishes like pork cheek bread pudding during their Sunday brunch.
Brunch hours: Sunday, 11am - 2pm
11. Oy!
Stands for Overindulgent Yumminess which is exactly how you will feel once you leave after trying their triple chocolate chunk pancakes!
