Memorial Day Weekend at Stone Mountain Park
May 25 – 28, Stone Mountain Park
Stone Mountain Park honors our troops and their families, in a three-day weekend celebration of American spirit. Red, White, Bluegrass and Bach

All eyes will be to the sky as the Fort Benning Silver Wings parachute into the Town Center Park to kick-off the annual Red, White, Bluegrass, & Bach Memorial Day Concert! Featuring the fun and patriotic music by the Main Street Orchestra, bluegrass music from Wilson Banjo Company, a salute to our veterans, food trucks and more – wear your red, white and blue, and come celebrate in Suwanee!
Fast Track 5K
Saturday, May 26, Duluth Town Green, 8am
Get your day started right with the Fast Track 5K Proceeds of the race will benefit the education and equipment restoration and conservation programs of the Southeastern Railway Museum. Stick around for the Memorial Day Service at 6pm.
Steve McKee's Memorial Day Concert
Saturday, May 26, New Dawn Theater Company, 7pm
If you like oldies, country or gospel, this concert is for you. Plus, enjoy a tribute to our troops.
Pre Memorial Day Half Marathon, 10k & 5k
Sunday, May 27, Bay Creek Park, 7:30am
Celebrate Memorial Day with a half marathon! This entire course will be run on a wide paved path around a lake in a very beautiful scenic park. There will be a well-stocked aid station at the start/finish area. Participants receive a generic tech shirt, and all finishers will receive a medal.

Cheer on the Gwinnett Stripers as they take on Columbus. Stick around for post-game fireworks.
Dacula Memorial Day Parade

Memorial Day Ceremony in Honor of Gwinnett Military Heroes
Monday, May 28, Gwinnett Fallen Heroes Memorial, 1pm
This annual event honors our county's military heroes and public service personnel. The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners and honor guard units from Gwinnett County Corrections, Fire and Emergency Services, Police Department, Sheriff's Office, and the Lawrenceville Police Department will take part in this event.
