Memorial Day Weekend at Stone Mountain Park

Stone Mountain Park honors our troops and their families, in a three-day weekend celebration of American spirit. All active and retired military personnel will receive one FREE adventure pass with a valid ID and will save up to 30% off per person (immediate family) and 20% off food and merchandise. If you like oldies, country or gospel, this concert is for you. Steve McKee will pay tribute to our troops.
Pre Memorial Half Marathon, 10K & 5K
Sunday, May 26, Lenora Park, 7:30am
Commemorate Memorial Day with a half marathon! This entire course will be run on a wide paved path in a very beautiful scenic park. There will be a well-stocked aid station at the start/finish area. Participants receive a generic tech shirt, and all finishers will receive a medal.

Cheer on the Gwinnett Stripers as they take on Norfolk. Stick around for post-game fireworks.
Norcross Memorial Day Celebration

In remembrance of those who have given their lives in the line of duty in service to the country, Norcross will be hosting a Memorial Day Celebration. Expect food, music and a special guest speaker.
Memorial Day Ceremony in Honor of Gwinnett Military Heroes
Monday, May 27, Gwinnett Fallen Heroes Memorial, 1pm
This annual event honors our county's military heroes and public service personnel. The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners and honor guard units from Gwinnett County Corrections, Fire and Emergency Services, Police Department, Sheriff's Office, and the Lawrenceville Police Department will take part in this event.
