Tiger Sugar is an international dessert chain brand originated in Taiwan. The tea was created by founder Ming Tsung Tang, who combined brown sugar syrup with milk and tapioca pearls while working at his dessert shop in Taiwan. Tiger Sugar gets its namesake from the appearance of the tea — after adding the brown sugar syrup, “tiger stripes” appear.
