One of the oldest houses in Gwinnett, the circa-1827 Isaac Adair House is a southern beauty with remarkable craftsmanship, down to the hand-planed boards and mortise and tenon joints. Exemplifying the Federal/Georgian architectural style common to the period, the two-story box structure was built two rooms deep with doors and windows in strict symmetry, a side gable roof, small entry porch, and a fanlight over the doorway with sidelights.
