In May, we celebrate the history, contributions, and diversity of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders in the United States. The month's observance has evolved from a week-long event to a full month, recognizing the significant roles that AANHPI communities have played in American society. In Gwinnett, we recognize this tradition and celebrate the diversity within our community in many ways throughout May!

There are some great local events in and around the county to learn and experience the beauty of these cultures.
- May 10th: GAT AAPI Summit 2025 @ UGA Gwinnett Campus
- May 10th: Suwanee Asian Festival @ Suwanee Town Center 12 pm - 8 pm
- May 10th: AAPI Vibe Fest @ Downtown Duluth Festival Center 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm
- May 10th - 12th: ExSE Festival of the Arts @ The Lawrenceville Arts Center (Saturday & Sunday: 5 pm - 10 pm, Sunday: 6 pm - 10 pm)
