In celebration of Artober Gwinnett, there are arts events happening everyday in October, and you can see the full calendar to the right. Explore Gwinnett has also partnered with community arts organizations to carry out exclusive Artober events, listed below.

Come out to Duluth for a night of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math at the STEAM event.
Join us for an award-winning event on Town Green on October 1st from 6-8pm as students from the Duluth school cluster showcase their project-based learning projects. Students will show off their real-world applications, investigations and more!
Explore Gwinnett has partnered with the City of Duluth to provide a caricature artist offering free drawings from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

Suwanee Fine Arts Festival
The Suwanee Fine Arts Festival is a two-day outdoor celebration of the arts in the award winning Suwanee Town Center Park. Art is a major part of Suwanee's culture providing an ideal location for a Fine Arts Festival. Organized by the North Gwinnett Arts Association, with a 10-year history of running the successful springtime Arts in the Park, this festival is now a two day fall festival with a focus on high quality, fine art.
Visitors will find themselves surrounded by all types of artists of diverse fine art and original disciplines, including painting, drawing, clay, photography, fine jewelry, sculpture, metal, leather and more. The festival will also offer local food and concessions, as well as Atlanta area food trucks, artist demonstrations, community art competitions and a new Emerging Artist Display, all in a family friendly environment. Visitors can also enjoy the Suwanee SculpTour, and visit the NGAA Center for the Arts, both located in Suwanee Town Center.
Explore Gwinnett has partnered with NGAA to provide performing arts buskers and a glassblowing demonstration.

Words & Wine
Join us for an evening with nationally renowned journalist, wine expert, and author Kevin Begos. He will discuss his travels along the original wine routes—from the Caucasus Mountains, where wine grapes were first domesticated eight thousand years ago, crossing the Mediterranean to Europe, and then America—and unearth a whole world of forgotten grapes, each with distinctive tastes and aromas. Before he speaks enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and tour the lovely grounds and gallery of R. Alexander Fine Art. Tour one of the largest collections of artwork to the southeast from a versatile range of contemporary emerging to established international and American artists.
This Artober event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Special thanks to the Gwinnett County Public Library for partnership on this event.

Spirits & Spirits featuring The Wicked Library
Grab a cocktail and settle in for a bevy of terrifying tales as Spirits & Spirits returns with this special Halloween treat for adults only. This year Aurora Theatre welcomes the award-winning horror podcast The Wicked Library.
This rare live performance will feature dramatic tellings of horror fiction stories from new, upcoming, independent and bestselling authors. These tales of terror will be performed by The Wicked Library’s talented voice actors and feature custom music to bring the stories to life.
Tickets are $25 each, and can be purchased by visiting The Aurora Theatre's website.

Stuart Woods Author Talk & Signing
Stuart Woods is the bestselling author of more than seventy-five novels. He is a native of Georgia and his debut book Chiefs, won the prestigious Edgar Award. He returns to Gwinnett to talk about his newest book Skin Game.
Books for sale and signing. Guests who purchase the new book from the bookseller at the event will be first in line for the signing.

Snellville Fall Festival
Stop by and do some early Christmas shopping with over 75 craft vendors that will line Oak Rd. in front of City Hall. The smell of festival food will fill the air to bring you flavors that will satisfy any palate. A wide variety of food will be available for purchase throughout the day.
The Snellville Senior Center will also be having an Arts and Craft Fair in conjunction with the Fall Festival from 12 - 5 p.m. that is held in the Senior Center. You won't want to miss out on some of the great homemade crafts that will be for sale.
Explore Gwinnett has partnered with the Snellville Fall Festival to provide a caricature artist to offer free drawings from 12:00 - 4:00 pm.

Hogwarts at the Hudgens
Come out for some magical family fun at the Hudgens Center for Art & Learning. All ages welcome as the Hudgens transforms into Hogwarts for the night with activities for the whole family.
This event is free and open to the public!

Books & Brews
Enjoy an evening of Books, Beer and Bluegrass at Suwanee’s new StillFire Brewing. In partnership with the Gwinnett County Public Library and Explore Gwinnett, learn about Prohibition in Atlanta from local experts and Authors Ron Smith and Mary O. Boyle while listening to Bluegrass melodies from Lost Horizon. First pours on us for the first 100 attendees.
