Artober Gwinnett is a month-long celebration aimed at increasing participation in arts and culture events throughout the county and amplifying amazing arts organizations, venues and artists who are shaping our vibrant and creative community.

2023 Featured Events

Norcross Art Splash - October 7th 10am - 6pm and October 8th 10am-5pm. Visit Downtown Norcross for one of the city's most popular festivals, unique arts and crafts vendors will be on site selling their goods. Be sure to stop by the Explore Gwinnett booth for free sand art for kids.

Frights and Flights - October 12th and 26th, 7pm. Lawrenceville Ghost Tours is teaming up with Slow Pour Brewing Company and Explore Gwinnett to offer a ghoulishly great new Haunted Happening. Guests over 21 are invited to enjoy Atlanta’s favorite ghost tour which culminates the Lawrenceville’s award-winning brewery to enjoy a flight of craft beer in their tasting room, courtesy of Explore Gwinnett. It’s all a part of Artober Gwinnett.

Duluth on Tap - October 14th 12pm-5pm. Celebrate Oktoberfest in Downtown Duluth! You bring the lederhosen and we'll bring the beer, sausage and giant pretzels. In addition to all the German food you can handle, this event will feature oompah music, local beers, axe throwing, vendors and more. Bring your kids to the Explore Gwinnett booth for free sand art!

Pawcasso Day - October 28th 1pm-4pm at Hudgens Art Center: View the authentic work of Pablo Picasso while your fur baby creates a paw-print painting of their own to take home! The Halloween-themed Pawcasso Day will also include a doggie costume contest, live DJ, pet-friendly vendors, giveaways, and art activity stations for your human children, too!
