Banjos & Brews

Thursday, October 6th: Join us at Monkey Wrench Brewing (Suwanee) for Banjos and Beer from 6:00-9:30PM. Leading up to their annual Bluegrass Fall Festival and Fundraiser, Everett’s Music Barn has paired us up with a classic bluegrass band for Artober! Grab a Pineapple Sour or Wayne’s Wheat and tap your toes to the sounds of the Brian Stephens band Lost Horizon.

Duluth Farmers & Artisan Market

Sunday, October 9th: Stop by our booth on the Duluth Town Green during the monthly Farmer’s and Artisan Market for free sand art projects for kids from 2pm-6pm. Shop with local vendors selling handmade items and locally grown foods.

Spirits & Spirits

Friday, October 28th: Grab a cocktail and settle in for a true crime panel discussion as Spirits & Spirits returns with this special Halloween treat for adults only at Lawrenceville Arts Center. This bone chilling conversation will feature true tellings of local cases from experts in the field acts will start at 8pm. Show up early for live pumpkin carving by Jeremy Smith, runner up on Food Network’s television show, Halloween Wars for pre main event fesitivities at 7pm. There will also be a not-to-be missed Halloween party to conclude the evening complete with a live DJ, costume contests and pumpkin decorating contests.

Pawcasso Day at Hudgens

Saturday, October 29th: Grab your costumed pooch and head to Hudgens Art Center (Duluth) from 1-4pm for Pawcasso Day. View an original piece by internationally renowned artist, Pablo Picasso from the Hudgens permanent art collection while your fur baby creates a paw-print painting of their own to take home. The Halloween-themed Pawcasso event will also include a doggie costume contest with prizes awarded by a panel of judges from Explore Gwinnett. Enjoy pet-friendly vendors, giveaways, DJ and art activity stations for your human children, too! Caricatures of people and their pets will also be available for an additional $5 donation to Hudgens. Pawcasso Day will take place in the Hudgens Sculpture Garden, weather permitting. All pets must be leashed. Tickets are available on Eventbrite and are $5 per pooch, with free admission for their attending people. Costume contest will begin at 2:30PM near the DJ booth.
